Your Coach: Jess Goldberg
Jess Goldberg is a leadership communications expert, executive coach, and international speaker. She is passionate about helping leaders gain clarity and confidence to make a lasting positive impact. She has taught thousands of high-powered leaders around the world from companies like Notion, Google and Bank of America. She currently teaches a course at Columbia University for graduate students called “The Compelling Communicator.” Her course for the public, “Management Mastery: Communicate with Influence” is a top-rated live leadership course.
Prior to coaching, Jess was the VP at an AI Robotics company leading a team building the voice and personality of Moxie, a robot used to teach social and emotional skills to children. She has managed teams for a decade in a variety of industries, including a global media network, a Fortune 100 company, and an early-stage tech company where she navigated the same terrain many leaders face every day. Jess’ work has garnered many accolades, including two Emmy awards, a prestigious Fulbright Fellowship, and a coveted spot on the Millennial 100 list.
Jess' journey into mastering communication began in the demanding terrains of journalism. As an award-winning journalist, she wrote stories on over 110 different countries, covering pivotal events like the Syrian Civil War, the Ukraine Crisis & the rise of Donald Trump. It was here that Jess sharpened her skills in negotiation, intuition, distilling intricate ideas, deep listening, charisma calibration and compelling storytelling. Through her immersion in global conflicts, Jess discovered a profound insight: at the heart of many world challenges lies a need for clear and compassionate communication. Her insights as a journalist have become the cornerstone of her leadership style and teaching methodologies today.
As a coach, Jess helps executives communicate with influence, navigate complex team dynamics with grace, develop their executive presence, and become magnetic leaders.
